Blobmixer

Blobmixer is a toy for creating 3D art. It allows users to generate WebGL-based blobs based on multiple parameters that impact shape, material, and lighting. It was born with the 14islands brand and the way our designers and developers collaborate on motion together — using debug panels.

As our most popular side project, with over 4 million views worldwide since its release, people have shared countless blobs on social media and given us overly positive feedback about the experience.

To take the experiment even further, we gave it a Web3 spin, allowing people to own their unique blobs as seamless video NFTs, with all profits donated to charity.
