HeroKit is a new product born out of 14islands to supercharge your website. It lets you create and embed stunning visuals on any website in minutes.

The idea

Three years ago, we shipped Blobmixer, a playful WebGL experience that attracted over 4M views worldwide and overwhelmingly encouraging feedback.

We got many requests from people who wanted to embed Blobmixer on their website to make their brand stand out among the crowd. First, we didn't pay much attention to it, then we made a secret patch to allow people to embed blobs on their site, and now we're taking this idea to a whole new level.

A big motivation for Herokit is the growing usage of no-code website builders such as Framer, WebFlow, Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress. These builders are making web design and development available to more people.

With HeroKit, one plus one equals three, as we combine these factors, forming a brand-new product.

How does it work?

HeroKit allows you to create visual components without even signing up to the service. You can simply go to HeroKits website, pick a Hero with a pre-defined theme, and apply your own custom styles. When you're happy with the results, hit publish to embed it on any website builder.
